Kim has been in the nail care industry since 2009 when she graduated from Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology and Nail Design. She realized that she wanted to be a nail tech while struggling to find adequate service when she sought out places to pamper herself. Her passion for nails grew tremendously after her first week at soak when she realized she made the right career choice. She is very passionate about staying educated and learning new ways to better her craft. She has since returned to school, so she could learn about foot care from the medical standpoint. This extra training helped Kim to fully understand the care that her elderly guests need and how to care for others who are experiencing issues with their feet. Not only is she passionate about learning, but she is also very passionate about instructing. She has obtained her Instructor Certification so that she can help teach future nail techs and help them towards their careers. Kim is also a Certified Medical Nail Technician. This advanced certification allows her to have greater knowledge when it comes to foot care issues, such has in-grown toe nails and fungi. While she cannot diagnose foot conditions, she can easily recognize the issue.
